About the Artist
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Heather Hug has been a part of the Chicago art scene since 1994. Her involvement in Chicago art programs has included Cows on Parade, Gallery 37, and Illinois Arts Council artist residencies.
Heather’s art work has been featured in the One of a Kind Show and Sale, the Gold Coast Art Fair, RAW Artists, numerous galleries, and art venues in and around Chicago and the Midwest.
Heather has designed and taught art classes for the Museum of Science of Industry, Field Museum, Hyde Park Art Center, Riverside Arts Center and other educatiol programs throughout the Chicagoland area. Heather was a volunteer, instructor, school director, and board member during her time at RAC from 1995 to 2017. Recently, Heather has taught ceramics at Mayslake Peabody estate, the location of an annual Holiday Market where she sells her work.
