With 20 years of experience illuminating the Chicagoland art scene, Brian Mead brings a high-energy blend of pop-culture illustration, public art, and functional woodwork to the alleyways. Heavily inspired by classic comic books and vintage album art, Brian’s work spans from national commercial illustration (Lucasfilm, Topps, WBEZ) to vibrant local public murals. Visitors can step into his garage to flip through vintage milk crates packed with Chicago-themed prints and posters, browse his latest colorful animal studies painted on cardboard, or check out his custom-built cornhole boards hand-painted in the style of traditional barn quilts.
